Day 3: Grocery Shop

DAILY FOCUS: Using your meal plan, write a grocery list. (2 points) Then go grocery shopping with your list in hand. (3 points)

Grocery shopping without a list can lead to frustration. Often times we don’t end up getting everything we need, or we get too much of the things we wish we hadn’t. Writing a list allows us to gather the things we need and budget when necessary. There are many different ways to organize a grocery list. I like to organize my list in categories according to the layout of my grocery store.

Here are my categories:

Produce
Meat/Seafood
Dairy Alternatives
Dry Goods/Other
Spice/Bulk
